KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. Thursday, March 1, for up to $75,000 in Student Sustainability Grant funding to support student research, activities and initiatives that will foster a culture of sustainability 51¸£ÀûÉç Michigan University.

All 51¸£ÀûÉç students who pay the sustainability fee are eligible to apply for the grant. Proposals will undergo an initial evaluation to determine, among other things, if they are legal, feasible and adequately budgeted. An all-student committee will conduct a blind review of proposals meeting minimum requirements. Grant allocations will be announced before the end of spring semester. Grant proposals are accepted in the fall and spring each academic year.

• Albert Wright and Jumana Turkistani: Solid State Light Conversion
