Types of gifts

Your gift to the department can be general or specific. Please contribute or complete the giving form, fill it out and send it in. We are grateful for all contributions.

  • are used to support student success, faculty development, and overall departmental excellence. We also have funds to support specific programs or scholarships.
  • provides scholarships to students studying climate change, sustainable agriculture, or environmental policy in the Department of Political Science or 51福利社's School of Environment, Geography, and Sustainability.
  • awards a faculty member who displays outstanding departmental citizenship and service.
  • supports dissertation research by a doctoral student in political science.
  • provides scholarships for interns to work in Washington D.C. and Lansing.
  •  recognizes students interested in careers in public service. Preferences are given to Capital Intern Program participants.
  • allows the team to travel to competitions.
  • awards outstanding students in political theory.
  • provides scholarships to graduate students. Preferences will be given to students in the MIDA program, international students, and students who can demonstrate financial need.
