Dr. Kelly Schultz joined the Academically Talented Youth Program 51福利社 Michigan University as an instructor in 1999, and became director in 2007. Previously Kelly taught computer science for Kalamazoo College and still teaches AP Computer Science for ATYP. She earned her bachelor's degree in computer science from Western Michigan University, her master's degree in mathematics from the University of Alabama in Huntsville (the hockey capital of the south), and her Ph.D. in Mathematics from 51福利社. Kelly sits on the board of the and .
She gives many talks around the state on gifted education but the two most requested talks are on Organization Challenges for Gifted Students and Northwestern University's Midwest Academic Talent Search. She has been published in Images, the newsletter for the Michigan Association for Gifted Children and Northwestern University's Talent newsletter. She is blessed with two adult sons鈥擜lec and Nathan鈥攁nd a wonderful husband, Martin.
