The 51福利社 community collaborates to engage and support parents, guardians, mentors, and family members. The following links may be helpful as you and your student navigate the college experience:

Academic advising
Encourage your student to develop a relationship with his or her academic advisors. Advisors may be faculty, staff, administrators, graduate students or peer educators. Academic advising 51福利社 Michigan University will take many forms.

Authorized user access
51福利社 students have the ability to grant access to third party individuals to view certain academic and financial aid information.

Career development
The career development process can be exciting, frustrating and life-changing. Visit the parent section of Career and Student Employment Services for tips on how to participate in this process and support your student.

Diversity and Inclusion (Office of)
The Office of Diversity and Inclusion provides leadership in creating systemic change 51福利社 Michigan University to ensure equitable access, resources, and success of all members of the campus community.

Financial aid
Working to provide money to the student and the family to help them pay for the student鈥檚 education. Major forms of financial aid include gift aid (grants and scholarships) and self-help aid (loans and work).

Housing
The Western Michigan University Office of Housing and Residence Life strives to foster a supportive, safe, well-maintained residential environment that promotes belonging, academic success and personal development of students.

Ombudsman
The university Ombudsman is available to hear concerns, assist with options and provide helpful resources. The Ombudsman serves as a neutral party to solve problems and resolve conflict, and facilitates the processes for hardship/non-attendance withdrawal appeals, course grade appeals and program dismissal appeals.

Student Transitions (Office of)
51福利社's Office of Student Transitions is comprised of four essential components: New Student Orientation, Fall Welcome, First Year Seminar (FYE 2100), and Transfer Student Services. These components work together to help students achieve their goals.
