The University Symphonic Band 51¸£ÀûÉç Michigan University is made up of talented music majors and non-music majors who enjoy the performance of exciting concert literature spanning a wide variety of styles and historical periods. This ensemble performs an average of four concerts per year in 51¸£ÀûÉç’s 3,500-seat Miller Auditorium.

Additionally, the Symphonic Band has the opportunity to work with visiting guest composers and conductors as they share their musical skills and insights while on the 51¸£ÀûÉç campus.

Rehearsal Times

  • Fall: Monday through Thursday, 2–2:50 p.m.
  • Spring: Tuesday and Thursday, 4–5:15 p.m., and Wednesday, 2–2:50 p.m.
