College Assistance Migrant Program
The purpose of the Western Michigan University College Assistance Migrant Program is to provide academic and financial support to assist migrant and seasonal farmworkers or their children in successfully completing their first undergraduate year at the University and continuing in their post-secondary education. The program provides students with academic assistance, tutoring, career counseling, financial assistance, leadership development, and personal and group counseling. Program participants also receive follow-up services after successful completion of their first year.
The College Assistance Migrant Program at 51福利社 is funded by the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Migrant Education.

Community Mentoring Program
The Community Mentoring Program is a mentorship-based initiative 51福利社 Michigan University that strives to help African American male students make a successful transition between college and their professional careers.

Kalamazoo Promise Scholars Program
The Kalamazoo Promise Scholars Program seeks to serve all current and prospective Promise-eligible Western Michigan University students by addressing concerns in the areas of education, finances and employment, housing, mental and physical health, cultural identity formation, supportive relationships and community connections, as well as life skills for college and career success.

Martin Luther King Jr. Student Scholars Academy
The Martin Luther King Jr. Student Scholars Academy is a four-tier comprehensive program designed to offer academic, social and professional development services that assist program participants from their first year 51福利社 Michigan University through graduation. Each tier is designed to address particular developmental milestones associated with that phase of a student's matriculation.

Mentoring for Success Program
The Mentoring for Success Program is a peer mentoring program designed to promote program participants' success 51福利社 Michigan University through increased acceptance rates into participants' intended majors and increased college graduation rates. The program is geared toward achieving specific academic and developmental goals that are focused on participants' overall development. Academic mentors provide undergraduate students in the target population academic support through one-on-one and small-group mentoring sessions, during which they facilitate discussions, help students locate resources, and promote academic and life skills development. Eligible program participants have access to a 24/7 online tutoring service covering hundreds of subjects.
Funding for this program is provided by the State of Michigan King-Ch谩vez-Parks Initiative's Select Support Student Services grant and 51福利社's Multicultural Affairs for Students and Office of Diversity and Inclusion.

Navigator Network
Multicultural navigation specialists provide direct support to students from historically marginalized communities, including asset-based coaching and connections to relevant student groups, support and programming that create belonging. While this support is available to all undergraduate students, the navigator network will initially focus on those who are first-generation college students, Pell-eligible and from historically marginalized communities.
