Working with a Blog Post
Blog posts are created by users with the blogger role. Published blog posts are automatically listed and searchable on the blog.
How to create a blog post
Click on Add content in the administration menu and click on Blog post.
Select the Section the blog post belongs to. This should be the name of the blog.
Enter a Title for the post.
Enter a URL slug that will be the end of the URL for the post.
Enter the name of the Author for the post that will be identified in the byline "Posted by..."
Upload an Image that will be displayed at the top of the blog post and used as a thumbnail on the blog.
Add content to the Body of the post.
Edit the Sunrise Date if necessary to determine when the published post becomes visible on the blog.
Enter a Sunset Date if necessary to determine when the published post should no longer be visible on the blog.
Upload any Attachments that need to be linked to in the Body.
Click the Save button at the bottom of the page. Then, while viewing the draft, select Needs Review from the Set moderation state drop down list and press Apply. Ask a publisher in your section to review and publish your draft.
