2017-18

Western News is the newspaper for and about Western Michigan University faculty and staff. The Office of Marketing and Strategic Communications publishes the paper every other Thursday—if classes are in session—during 51¸£ÀûÉç's fall and spring semesters and summer I session.

Publication dates for 2017-18 are: Sept. 7 and 21, Oct. 5 and 19, Nov. 2 and 16, Dec. 7, Jan. 11 and 25, Feb. 8 and 22, March 15 and 29, April 12, May 10 and 24, and June 7 and 21. Western News will be on summer hiatus starting June 22 and resume publication Aug. 30 for the 2018-19 production year.

The deadline for submitting items for inclusion in an issue is 5 p.m. Friday the week preceding an issue's scheduled publication date.
