51¸£ÀûÉç Haworth is honored to present its 2024 edition of The 30, a publication that recognizes emerging alumni who are leading with intention and striving for more in the business world. Selected by a committee of faculty, staff and recent alumni, these honorees represent the integrity, leadership and purpose that are synonymous with being a Business Bronco.

Chyna Sky Dandridge, B.B.A.’19

Dandridge embraced growth and the unknown early on, becoming the first in her family to graduate from college. She continues to be driven in business through her company, SxFigures, a venture that supports small businesses and empowers young professionals, while also excelling in her role at Cigna Healthcare.

Jones has a natural talent for leadership and a passion for people, which perfectly combine in his role as director of student health services at Grand Valley State University. His diverse knowledge comes from an impressive background that includes nine years of service in the United States Navy and a 51¸£ÀûÉç MBA.

Marketing strategies that look effortless are what set Weeks apart in her industry—and earned her accolades. Her skill for developing and executing effective campaigns has led to success in roles at small and large organizations across northern Michigan, where she also runs her own marketing consulting company.

Creativity combined with analytical skills and a continued desire to lead and inspire people launched Guenther into her ideal role at Pinterest. With many talents pinned to her board, she uses her experiences as a lead people technology analyst, lifestyle blog creator and student at Cornell University to propel her ambitions.

Thoughtful analysis and leadership skills are strengths that make Thiry the logical choice to manage special projects at DaVita Labs. His focus on improving continuity of care and communication among laboratory teams has led to excellent implementation of key projects, making a difference in the lives of patients.

The 30 is a publication from the Haworth College of Business that recognizes emerging business leaders who are providing thought leadership and innovative perspectives in the business world. Like many publications highlighting business leaders, The 30 honors impact in the business world, and connects alumni with the college and one another through networking.

In order to qualify, nominees must:

  • Have graduated from 51¸£ÀûÉç Haworth in the past 10 years.
  • Have significant achievements through application of their business and leadership skills.
  • Have demonstrated a strong sense of vision for the future.
  • Have a minimum of two years of professional experience.

A committee composed of faculty, staff and recent alumni evaluate the nominations (with names redacted), using a holistic scoring method, looking for evidence of the following:

  • Significant accomplishments in the business world since graduation (maximum of 20 points)
  • Meeting or surpassing milestones—corporate or external recognition of efforts (maximum of 10 points)
  • Community involvement and vision in regard to service (maximum of 10 points)

Up to 10 additional points will be awarded based on the panel's overall impression of the materials (completeness and strong narrative as to why this person is worthy of being honored).

While each nominee may not excel in each of the above areas, evidence of achievement in several of the areas above will create a strong nomination.
