Mental Wellness

The mental wellness education program aims to reduce stigma of mental health, and support and improve the mental and emotional wellness of all students.&²Ô²ú²õ±è;We lead mental well-being initiatives focused on prevention, resiliency skill building, and access to support services. We coordinate Mental Health First Aid, safeTALK, self-care workshops, and other mental health trainings for faculty, staff, and students. These workshops focus on recognizing signs of mental distress, managing stress, mindful mental health, and connecting to resources. We also facilitate student-led events with campus community partners such as Mental Health Awareness Week.

Our Mental Health Peer Educators facilitate student-led events and empower students while working diligently to normalize mental wellness for college students. They create space for students to brainstorm and collaborate in fun and meaningful ways to educate the 51¸£ÀûÉç community about mental health and well-being through interactive programming.
